There's new FFXIV stuff, so that means it's a #FFXIV week! Arkveld hunting, deep dungeons with the fae, bonus treasure map runs too, oh my!

Might try streaming on YouTube soon? Not sure. All I know is that Twitch is apparently getting worse. Again. Yippee.

Oh yeah true trial tomes aren't much, I forgot about that. But wow you're dedicated, step 2 of the relics is something I'm kind of just... Trying to ignore even if I only have to do it once lol, so gj on getting most of the relics!

Wait you can augment the Veldian weapons? Damn, that's pretty good. Though at least the Arkveld runs are getting you tomes so you can also get the extra relic weapons too after farming enough (especially if you're mount farming :p)

Idk man. I just think this thinly veiled attempt to make it easier for digital surveillance in the name of "protect the kids" is a stupid fucking move on par with the whole mess going on with Visa/MC's puritanical bullshit regarding adult games on Steam, DLsite, itch .io etc.

I hate our government.

Not to mention, kids (especially teens) are going to get around ID verification regardless. VPNs, proxies, falsifying ID or worse, using their parent's IDs, to access this stuff are all real easy to do. They already steal parent's bank cards for VBucks/gacha/etc. so what's the difference here?

It'd be one thing if it was ONLY p0rn, where I'd disagree as I think parents should use the tools available to them to actually parent their kids rather than let them have full unrestricted internet access w/o supervision, but mental health/addiction/abuse helplines and resources? Really???
