We are power hogs in our house. 5 adults, airconditioning etc. Here is a look at our power with Solar. R1 is sent back to grid total from the Meter. You will note, this is just power used from NB power & Power sent to NB power to use later (R1). It doesn't include power used from solar directly.

Contrary to what we Council/public were told, the #Hanwell solar file shows the Councillor DID negotiate his own, while taxpayers. We were told: (1) only staff negotiated and a councillor’s system was separate; (2) no other company wanted to quote. Documents obtained prive otherwise. (see chart)

In Mexico. They have a jalapeño slicer, Everyone was using it, except us freckled people. Also note the sign says no dogs or cats. But the Ketchup dispenser says ‘Sup’ Cats. Pick a lane Mexico. (Side note. Looking for the the Gulf of Merica, no one here knows where it is. )

So true. If you see change needs to be done, or something needs to be done, get involved, encourage and help. 1 person can make a difference.

After I resigned I got a lot more, thanks to help from the Court. However, look at the deal that the Councillor Negotiated on behalf of taxpayers, while negotiating his very own. All done in secret, with lies shared to council. Why would the Mayor and Staff lie for a Councillor? All there day 1.

Getting ready to cross back over to Nova Scotia from Newfoundland. The ferry, once again, is my penance for a misspent youth. Nothing says “life choices have consequences” like 7 hours of staring at the horizon trying not to revisit breakfast. 🌊🤢⚓️

Helping my brother and sister-in-law finish their cabin in Corner Brook this week, they’re getting married here Saturday. It’s 10:30am, the beer’s gone, so I stole this. That is my koozie from 2010 and probably has the cure for cancer in it by now. Cheers to love, lumber, and low standards 🍻

Helping my brother and sister-in-law finish their cabin in Corner Brook this week, they’re getting married here Saturday. It’s 10:30am, the beer’s gone, so I stole this. That is my koozie from 2010 and probably has the cure for cancer in it by now. Cheers to love, lumber, and low standards 🍻
I’m in Cornerbrook at the moment, and felt like I won the lottery not having to take that damn ferry. I’ve always stated my marrying a Newfie was gods way of making me pay for a misspent youth, and that bloody boat is gods penance. Listening to politics here is a sport!

This isn’t democracy. It’s poor governance, & it’s on the Province. FULL STOP! The Ombud (2023) ruled councils don’t have authority to suspend members, yet it keeps happening.

I’ve made a credible, provable allegation of taxpayer fraud and abuse. And I still can’t get a meeting.
The only response?
➡️ “Yes, this is concerning.”
➡️ “But we have no mandate.”
➡️ 2 Cabinet ministers literally wished me luck… in getting media coverage to force action. But no meeting.

Here for instance. The Threshold during purchase as $100k, we spent $120, on a 40k Budget. You can see the Mayor and CAO conspire to hide it, and in September I voted there wasn't a conflict of interest based on their investigation. Councillor MacKenzie as it turned out negotiated his & Hanwells.
