It's a damn shame that I love VR, but to meet a tangible immersive experience I will NEED to spend. VR tech will be increasingly niche the more people get priced out of a stable experience. Yeah I can optimize, but I will also have to battle the 79 other people in the instance.

Want to AT LEAST play a game at a consistent 60 FPS? Go drop $2k+ on a capable PC. Or go spend $500-$700 on a console with $80 games. Dont forget the subscription! 💀💀

It's also starting to extend to single player "AAA" games. They wont bother with optimizations and assume everyone is on current gen hardware. Not to mention the increasing push for AI Frame Gen tech and power demand. Being a "budget" gamer is now a relic of the past.
