i get it i’m not immune to the occasional breakdown but if you haven’t reached the point where you’re able to say “i know this is unhelpful/untrue but i can’t help feeling like this sometimes” then inevitably you’re going to hurt somebody else or yourself when randoms online engage with that

i feel like most companies as blatant as they are about taking and selling data have an opt out option but this was the first time a company like that did not have an opt out option only different data to give them

i thought it was white elephant and now everyone’s really mad at me :/

I rant a lot about marketing because it was what I was studying for a while and gave up after seeing how soulless the majority of it becomes. Like they don’t even try anymore it’s just a husk in a suit looking at twitters trending tab and seeing how fast they can attach that name to their brand.

“Oh the #9 with a Sprite is actually the Travis Scott meal”, “#1 with a Bitcoin logo stamped into the bun is the Bitcoin meal”, “The #3 with an extra slice of cheese is the Rizzler meal”

What even are we anymore?? Are we so devoid of life we can’t even throw a little Red40 in the milkshake anymore?

What I hate lately, and I know it’s not entirely a new thing, is that instead of innovating new flavors or trying something new brands are trying to attach themselves to people and concepts to drive sales and the things they’re pulling from are so hollow there’s nothing left to do with it.

I love how HHN does little food booths themed around their properties. Stranger Things has some chocolate strawberry cookies that are supposed to look like upside down and it’s fun! Even though the brand is just Taco Bell the Baja Blast pie is fun and interesting!
