Tried the new Sonnet 4.5 with Junie, it consumes considerably more quota than GPT5 and the quality gains aren’t clear enough, not worth the change as of now.

I want to connect with universities and professors who already teach Spring. If you are teaching Spring at a university (or know someone who does), 📩 please reach out, let's collaborate to prepare the next generation of developers.

Spring is one of the most widely used frameworks in companies worldwide. Learning it, is a career investment and if you master Spring + AI (wink wink, Spring AI), you are not just another dev.

AI is reshaping the entry-level job market.

Some junior roles might be disappearing but on the other hand, companies are desperate to add AI into their systems and workflows. And I believe that is a shortcut for new grads.

I’ve been setting up GitHub self-hosted runners lately to execute jobs from GH Actions.

My current client has many security and compliance requirements, this allows having full control over the environment, using any hardware, lower costs and even accessing resources behind a VPN.

You can learn 100 JavaScript frameworks…
or you can learn Java and Spring once, and it’ll pay you back for years. 💚

Still on Java 17 and planning to upgrade?
☕️ Skip 21 and go straight to 25.

Java 25 provides memory efficiency gains and garbage collection improvements with zero code changes. Align it with your Spring Framework 7 / Spring Boot 4 upgrade.

Strong recommendation by Juergen Hoeller.

You might like (or dislike) Spring’s explicit class names, that’s fair. But naming conventions aside, there’s no doubt it's a well designed framework with great quality of code.

BTW, I'm far from new and I do like the explicit long names :)
