I have recently finished RT for Prostate cancer after being told of a high ‘gleeson’ score. I had previously quite recently received a negative to the BRCA/ BRCA2 so this proved to be misleading and I’m glad I didn’t allow this to put me off going for the PSA/ MRI tests

My experience was getting the PSA from my GP was quick as was the MRI but getting the biopsy and later starting treatment took several months - so 7 months from PSA to treatment, many more if wanted the op rather than RT. DC seems to have had a treatment not readily available, if at all, on the NHS
