I get the exact same reaction, but I kind of understand. As a native Android dev I find it hard to consider integrating flutter/RN modules into native projects. The fact that KMP compiles to bytecode might not be enough to persuade them that it won’t result in sub-standard quality?

I took a YOLO approach to a side project while in beta, and got to production with no problems - happy to see it go stable!

Yes, but it was not fun 😅

Things I had to explain to my boss when I was building some:
- doesn’t work below Android 12
- can’t use existing app theme
- no custom fonts
- no async loading of images
- Difficult to handle sizes
- Difficult to update them consistently
- sparse documentation

Sorry I know that's a bit reductionist, but would be hard to understand the timeline of that followed by him signing for a seat at, say, red bull; thinking back on his 2024 season I think he's lucky to have a seat at Haas this year
