Hi! This is Adam from SFB Games (Crow Country, Tangle Tower, Snipperclips) I just joined!

Absolutely. If I get hit, 99% of the time it's really just because I was being greedy or impatient

The three 'Congratulations!' pictures you can get after completing Crow Country on hard mode (B, A and S rank)
I had fun posing the characters to make these.

I’m a big fan of Alundra 2. Pitch perfect ‘slightly-clunky-but-very-charming’ PS1 game

I love these, great work! I'm a big fan of these little diorama interiors. (if you ever want to do any more, my fave ones are the haunted hotel lobby and shop)

I didn't try it until I needed to use it to get shredded organs for the Broodfeast quest. Now I realise that quest is probably there to encourage you to try different tools. Well played team cherry

it's just really really good at quickly killing things from above - without spending the usual time and space pogoing on them. It's also good for traversal down a long vertical - it's fast, but Hornet will safely bounce off any spikes you land on, so you can just use it wherever

Fire tree boss, I’m guessing

This thing is incredible

since you're here - some more screenshots from the development, mostly modelling (making a bunch of bespoke objects for each room was probably my favourite part of the whole process)

development screenshots of these earlier variants:

Top right: early design for the Arms enemy, when it just flailed randomly and rolled around with physics. It looked great but caused me no end of problems. And bottom right: early Grinner, back when they had arms - which I eventually removed to differentiate them from the other Guests.

Original set of enemy file photos for the projector slides in Edward Crow's office. I had to remake these a few times as the enemy designs changed.

Thank you! hopefully we’ll post something soon

It really makes me feel like I’m missing something, like there’s a secret pickaxe needle or something
sfbdim.bsky.social
I’m really enjoying Silksong but I’m confused by the shard economy. Basically, I never have any shards. Sometimes I’ll find a secret hoard of shards only to be utterly baffled by how few are actually in there
sfbdim.bsky.social
The most significant upgrade I’ve noticed is the tool strength, seemed to really help

a little secret about this room - the box of ammo in the drawer gives you 7 bullets, instead of the usual 8
sfbdim.bsky.social
No, I gave the ammo box prefab a logic switch that provides 7 bullets instead of 8, it defaults to off, and I turned it on just for that one instance
