Twitch streamers who live in Canada recently recieved this e-mail from Twitch saying that Twitch is now required to report to the Canada Revenue Agency, the money you recieve from Twitch as income.
This is absolute BS, because this can affect those on monthly fixed incomes, reducing benefits. (1/2)

I have been aware that the Canadian Senate has introduced a Senate Bill called S-209. If this bill receives Royal Assent in the House of Commons, this could introduce age verification to the internet for all Canadian IP addresses. It's not about protecting the kids, it's about government censorship.

After 21 years as a loyal customer since 2004, my dad has left #Rogers and has signed up for #FreedomMobile . It's Rogers' loss for becoming even more expensive in the Wireless market in Canada, and offering less for more money.
