Last week, School of Communication professor emeritus Barry Truax received an honorary degree from SFU.

Truax had a monumental impact on the world of sound as an integral part of the World Soundscape Project and Director of the Sonic Research Studio.

Graduate student Joseph Methuselah recently completed work on a short documentary titled "The Man in the Rectangle", which he co-wrote and co-produced.

The film had its world premier at SXSW London this month from June 2-7.
