Yesterday there was this X-class solar flare event coming from a new sunspot, AR4299.
As it turns out, this is just a 'small-ish' sunspot group! Nothing like its big brother AR4294,AR4296.
Size does not matter! 😃
Seeing was really bad and cloudy.

Finally, sky cleared up a bit tonight, with the tropical hurricane out of the way and pulling away some of the clouds. Seeing was still below average.

We're having a rare hurricane (Senyar) gliding across the straits of malacca, and now crossing over Peninsular Malaysia to the east coast. It's been raining non-stop for almost 2-3 days, with overcast sky for the past 1-2 weeks. Incredibly rare to see that hurricane indicator in the Windy app here!

Thanks for the alert. It’s gonna be a close call from Kuala Lumpur. For Gamma Cap, ingress will be around 8 minutes after sunset. Unfortunately I will miss Delta Cap.

Failed attempt to get Comet SWAN25B this evening. Probably to faint for simple DSLR setup. Unfortunately the horizon view from my roof top observatory was even worse . Minorplanetcenter is reporting the current mag is at 9.4
