'There was this great document I found in National Archives which was a survey by the Colonial Office in 1948 which asked people if they could name any colonies. Half can't name a colony. At least one person suggests Lincolnshire might be colony' @GaryYounge

25 years ago, the Human Rights Act came into force. It incorporated the European Convention on Human Rights into UK law, meaning we could defend our rights in courts, here at home - rather than going to the European Court.
