Thinking of what I want to do for a Christmas card this year is going to be tough. Like these will never be topped. And now they all have to involve my cats, who are so very uncooperative.
I am in an elf costume pretending to drink directly from a bottle of Maker’s Mark. There are Christmas lights wrapped around me as I sit in front of a decorated Christmas tree. The card says “lit for the holidays” I am sitting on a couch wearing a Christmas tree headband and a Christmas light necklace. I am cradling a bottle of Jameson like a baby. Here’s the cat that was MIA during my wisdom tooth recovery….right before she drooled on me.
I am laying on my couch, looking at the camera and smiling. A tabby cat is laying on my chest. Her face looks kind of annoyed, but you can see that her right paw is mid-biscuit, so she’s definitely happy. She drooled on me a couple of seconds after this shot, confirming that she’s happy.

Had to light the Love Affirmation Candle I bought at the farmer’s market on Saturday.

Day 12. Drove up to Imlil on day 11. Hiked an hour to get to our hotel. Almost cried, thought I wasn’t gonna make it. (I did.)

The one day during the trip when none of us had cell service. It was wonderful.
