I've just used Good Law Project's tool to tell Keir Starmer that his ID scheme is a recipe for repression. Will you do the same? goodlaw.social/364f2b
Tell Keir Starmer to scrap his ID card scheme

lots I should have done today but watched the John Candy documentary instead and now I'm emotionally drained and will spend the rest of the weekend watching the great man in every film I can find. 31 years have gone but it still seems so unfair. Thanks to his family and friends for sharing so much.

Not much to say about Ian Watkins being beaten to death in prison... Other than that i hope he suffered every second.

The Long Walk - rips out your heart, tramples on it then kicks it into the nettles. Great film, tremendous acting - take tissues - lots of tissues.

I'd like to apologise for the lack of sunshine this morning. I had an awning installed over my usually baking hot kitchen yesterday and now the sun will never shine again.

Only smartphones I've ever had have been Apple until a week ago when I took the major decision to move to a Nothing Phone - It's been a learning curve but stories like this just prove to me it was a good decision. #nothing #timapple

28 Years Later is flipping brilliant and well worth the wait. Bravo Danny Boyle! … also the cinema is air conditioned so that makes it doubly brilliant when it’s as hot as satan’s arsehole outside. Downside of today - my fave cinema is closing down soon.

June is Pride Month. Let's call out companies who show support for LGBTQ+ people while also advertising on GB News, a channel that pumps out LGBTQ+ hate. Tell these companies to pick a side - hate or Pride:

At last! An episode of Doctor Who that hits the mark. The Well is superb, an episode I would have hidden behind the sofa as a child to watch. The fear of the unknown, what you can’t see, on the edge of your peripheral vision, the stuff you hide from under the blankets at night. Fantastic stuff!

Went to see #sinners today and it did NOT disappoint. Want something to do on bank holiday Monday - treat yourself and go. Big screen movie with great music, stunning performances and lots of suspense. Only about 10 in my showing today, which is sad …. Oh & don’t leave at beginning of credits!

Rewatching ‘Val’ - a wonderful and moving documentary and an amazing insight into Val Kilmer’s life. If you’ve not seen it, please do - even if you weren’t a fan. It’s a beautiful piece of work. Rest in peace Val.
