Over half of people in low-income families with kids live in married-couple families, and about 1 in 10 in domestic-partnered ones. (Figures are a bit dated, so could use an update, but no reason to think basic picture has changed). www.americanprogress.org/article/part...

So I went to the AEI event on this new book—"Get Married: Why Americans Must Defy the Elites." The best parts were the four glasses of sparkling rosé I was served and the one good panelist, Anna Louie Sussman, www.annalouiesussman.com, noting all the elite publications the author has bylines at.

Which they structured in a way that created this process for determining how much of the monthly payment families would have to pay back if a child left their unit. (Although would be interesting to know how many parents were caught up in this, maybe not many).
