I think if your argument is for better screening and treatment for mental health for *people in general* then fine, but its always about the restriction of trans people existing and I just dont believe that comes from a place of care for them or anyone else, im afraid.

You're accountable for your own choices. Nobody is under any illusions. You see cheerleading on the shallow public platforms, sure, but I've known several detransitioners, and the only one that blames drs doesnt take responsibility for anything in their life, so i dont think its trans related.

A proper qualified carer would be closer to £2500/month. People like me save the government 10s of 1000s every year, and people that pay less than that in tax look down on me.

I care for a friend with complex needs, 24/7, because it would be near impossible to find the appropriate care for them. The government pays me like 200/month for doing it.

Tbh, these private clinics only exist because the nhs provision isn't adequate. You can't make people wait a decade for treatment and expect them to not seek it elsewhere.
