Solidarity with the Debenhams (Boohoo) workers who may be about to lose their jobs. We've sadly seen this before. Across supply chains workers are underpaid, undervalued and treated as disposable by fashion brands.

Debenhams must urgently engage with @usdawunion.bsky.social and save these jobs.
We're calling on Debenhams (formerly Boohoo) to END its anti-union stance and engage with us over the proposed closure of its warehouse 🗣️

We are calling this "Raise the Colours (or, The Ballad of Little Bobby Jenrick)"

It's a musical commentary on #raisethecolours, celebrating Robert Jenrick's latest social media antics, with a ukelele gradually going out of tune.

Well @greenbeltfestival.bsky.social it’s been a blast. Highlights include being half-arsed, unexpected, if fleeting community making elf gauntlets, rest as resistance and fantastic studies and hymn singing, plus a bit of folk music. Fabulous.

1/ Dear UK Labour leadership-
Have you lost your collective minds? Please re-read your election manifesto and consider giving some time to the bits that don’t curtail people’s rights, don’t make things harder for those already struggling, don’t pander to the reform right

I don’t post here often because I’m finding Bluesky tricky. So much is political or “buy my book” type posts. I just want to know what’s happening in normal lives really or engage with folk who are fun!

So here is my dog. She is always in the fun zone….

Did you know it’s just under 12 weeks until Greenbelt? Did you also know that if you buy *before midnight tonight* you can split the total cost into three equal, interest-free monthly payments up to July? You can do the same Consider this a public service announcement and grab a payment plan today.

I’m not sure about #beachbodyready or #hotgirlsummer. Time to aim for #beachedwhalesummer where everyone just turns up in whatever shape the like and slob about on the beach/mountain/lakeside etc. Keep us hydrated and roll us back home at the end. Perfect.

There seems to be a lot of chat about “banning phones in schools”. I visit a lot of schools for my job. None of them allow phones to be used in school. This is deflection from the real problems.
