So this happened an hour ago. I don’t think I’ve seen red this deep in a long time. You could see it quite clearly with the naked eye. #aurora

Interfering with the lawful functioning of the government is a federal crime.
I have always thought McConnell should have been arrested for it.
Same with Johnson not swearing in Grijvalda.
Laws are different for the oligarchs.

Mike Johnson refused to swear in Adelita Grijalva for 7 weeks after she won her election by about 40 points. Mitch McConnell refused to give Obama’s Supreme Court nominee, Merrick Garland, even a hearing for most of a year. Sen. Tommy Tuberville blocked all military nominations for 10 months /

We need to change rules that let a single senator or representative block the normal work of government.

No more hiding behind election terms.

This is what I try to always tell people: food banks can do way more with your money than you can, due to bulk buying deals. And they can do way, way more with your money than with the canned goods you didn’t want to eat
spoke with the executive director of my local food bank today and got this really incredible line: "if you donate 1 can of green beans, we can give away 1 can of green beans. but if you donate a dollar, we can give away 6 cans of green beans"

This Veterans Day, I’m thinking of the millions of Americans who have served in uniform — and how our government is failing them right now.

Words aren’t enough, we need actions. Fund the VA. Fund mental healthcare. And end endless wars.

@acollierastro.bsky.social you may have been too conservative with your end of Target timeline
"Store employees are now required to smile if they are within 10 feet of a shopper.

They also must make eye contact with and wave to or greet the customer.

If they’re within four feet, the employee should ask how the customer’s day is going or if they need help."

🙄 Won't stop the boycott, y'all.

Target is now requiring its employees to smile more
As the holiday season fast approaches, Target is urging its employees to add a little more “jolly” to their work routine.
