I watched a mockingbird flit around the yard like it was working out how to catch something. Then I saw its lunch slither away.

There is *nothing* that tastes as sweet as the first ripe mango of the season.
Best. Breakfast. Ever.
Eleven mangoes are left on the tree, all bigger than this little one. I'm very pleased with my tree's second season. (Three times the output of last season!)

Lots of people are about to be really mad that price of eggs goes up but they can’t get a 2nd job because they can’t afford childcare and when they do finally get the eggs they get E Coli because there’s no FDA but can’t go to the doctor because they got kicked off their health plan. #FAFO

Say hello to my latest rescue.
The boys caught him last night, but I was able to snag him from the jaws of fuzzy death. He was still breathing, no visible wounds, but seemed to be in shock. I gently put him in one of the plants on the patio.
He's now moved to a different plant and is alert. 😊

Say hello to my latest rescue.
