Still rowing away on my virtual journey from John O’Groats to Lands End. When I’m not on the road, I do about 10km a day on my rowing machine. Yesterday I reached Inverness. That’s 267km—166 miles or 20% of the full route. On to Glasgow.

The owner of my sailing school reached out to say my instructor specifically recommended me for the next certification level. Time to get studying—ASA 103 exam in two weeks!

Apparently I take up a new crazy activity every five years. Ten years ago I started sword fighting, five years ago I started ninja training, and today I took my first sailing lesson.
