I've two wee dogs, a few cats, and 7 hens, so no need for any mythical creatures at my place!
A new question for #SecretSantaAoNZ
Are you a cat or dog person? Pandas? Hippos? Dolphins?Dragons? Chimera? Nessie?

I really like jigsaw puzzles.
Another day, another chance to learn more about you #SecretSantaAoNZ

I remain of the view that the key issue here is that the government could not use Transport funding to build a footbridge everyone wanted, ministers included, because the same government has deliberately made that impossible. It's a point Audrey Young completely misses.

A few hints about me. I'm a lefty, soon to retire from paid union work. I have two dogs, numerous rescued cats, and a number of hens, the oldest is now 10yrs old!
I have a large garden, like puzzles, earrings, chocolate, and good tea.

I collect plants and books. I love getting out in the garden and although it's very weedy at the moment it's got flowers and veges peaking through the chaos!
Question time #SecretSantaAoNZ
What do you collect? If you were a dragon what would you hoard?

Dear Secret Santa #SecretSantaAoNZ I love earrings, I have pierced ears, and I'm also quite partial to bracelets for my very small wrists.
Going to move this question for #SecretSantaAoNZ forward a few days since it's come up.
What jewellery do you wear? Necklaces? Bracelets? Clip-ons or pierced earrings? Rings? Anklets? Arm bands? Gold? Silver? Pewter? Copper? Or plastic like Hoggle?

@chrishipkins.bsky.social Earlier this year, you publicly belittled Tamatha Paul for daring to criticise police.

Given today's revelations around sexual offending & cover-ups at the highest levels, would you care to apologise to her & acknowledge some people have reasons to distrust them?

A little example, I think, of how our political media generally struggles to zoom out and look at systemic issues, not just react to the news of the day.

There is a story here; it's not about fireworks. It's about NZ First's abuse of the members' Bill ballot to generate headlines.
Peters says ‘enough is enough’ as fireworks ban gets new parliamentary push
The latest effort to ban sales comes as MPs prepare to consider three petitions on the issue, including one backed by 90,000 signatures – and thousands of pawprints.<br />
