to them we are the tainted unenlightened masses so of course we see it as "greed" because we are too stupid to understand it's for the greater good. don't you know that the rich and powerful are going to save the future? clearly we could never understand.

the reality is however that these people are insane and evil and view themselves as ontologically superior to 99.9999% of the world population, so whatever world they want to build is one that would reflect the rotting corpse of their souls

i still think legends z-a is a great pokemon game. i just feel like it should've pushed the battle system harder and done more fun & interesting stuff with it. legends arceus didn't have to be as innovative with catching because catching pokemon has always been the best part of the games since 1996

to put it in other words i don't think arceus had to do as much legwork with its central mechanic to make it a great game, but legends z-a had to do a lot more to make a game laser-focused on battling strong enough to stand on its own and it just didn't add enough to the system to make it so

Also i'm going to be completely and totally honest i thought this was a middle schooler's paper until i scrolled down and saw it was from OU??? girl... even if empirically backed up writing like this would've gotten me a C in high school freshman english.

im going to be so honest i didn't realize this was a series with fans. i totally thought it was some random self-published amazon bookstore xenofic i stumbled across as a preteen because nobody talks about it LMAO
