The O's took an early lead on a 1st inning Don Buford home run, but the Cubs came right back and built a 4-run lead after 3 innings as Chicago swept the AL Champions.

Ken Holtzman pitched a 5-hit, 7 strikeout CG and the Cubs scored all of their runs on homers by Jim Hickman and Ron Santo

There's misinformation out there that says they won, but they actually finished 2nd to the Netherland's Teddy Scholten ("Een Beetje") #Whizzo

People are saying that these #Whizzo Brand cards were issued in the UK in the 1970s, but there's nothing out there to verify that it's a real set. Regardless, it seems that many of the subjects had been name-dropped in Monty Python TV shows, movies or albums. Funny, that.
