Not attached at all, i just put them in there for the photo. I sometimes think about making it permanent but I have too many shards and not enough wall space!

I think it's easier to see a bit zoomed out, right at the edge of the picture there's three black dots that make two eyes and a nose, and it is looking back over its body, its tail tucked in anticlockwise.
