As a kid I was warned not to take candy from strangers in a van bc they might abduct me. Now the government is abducting children off the street, and they aren't even offering any candy.

When I witness shallow, uneducated, small dick-energy folks lash out at every available scapegoat they can fabricate, I really loathe the lowest-common-denominator methodology of modern American society. Perhaps we should not dumb our entire society down to an 8-year old perspective after all.

Uncovering the underlying reason for my initial reaction is key to understanding what i am truly feeling. Sometimes disgust is tied to embarrassment. Sometimes anger is a cover for sadness. Sometimes lust is an effort to belong. Emotional intelligence is about understanding why I feel the way I do.

Bountiful harvests this year with our home garden! 2-3 quarts of cherry tomatoes so far, 2 gallons of tomatillos so far, 2 dozen strands, 30 habeneros, 15 jalapeños, enough basil for a half gallon of pesto!!!

I see evolution in computers. What used to take up a whole room, soon was available for every home. 8 bit graphics evolved to 16, then 64 bit graphics. CPU's doubled their memory and processing power every 18 months. Exponentially.
Simultaneously, human awareness has been evolving at the same rate.
