I love cooking this meal year after year. It generally stays the same but details are tweaked year to year. This year was roasting the breast and confit the legs. Plus I finally bought a food mill for home so potatoes were smooooooooth.

Sale was too tempting, finally upgraded my 8.5 year old Sony for not only bigger but OLED as well. It’s pretty spectacular. (Nosferatu was definitely the darkest movie I could think of to look at contrast haha)

I don’t get to say this much but these wings were unlike anything I’ve had before. They were all flats and they were chopped in half before coating and frying. Not only was the chili, garlic, Sichuan peppercorn flavor great it had a unique sweetness similar to molasses but different. 10/10

Can’t believe I’ve been going here for a decade but the Korean ladies that run it make it hard to go anywhere else. They pile you with extra banchan, seafood pancake is always free, and sometimes you get tteokbokki (if they like you)
