even if it's ill informed, illogical, accusative, conspiratorial, ignorant, borderline bigotted, hypocritical, narrow-minded, and flat out just mean-spirited and in bad faith

the internet has to do better with pointing that stuff out

At what point does it even matter that what these self-entitled "opinion havers" say has power and can influence people to parrot their viewpoints

When you as a critic or commentator get criticized for your half baked ideas and misinfo, you have to reflect because your fans will blindly believe it

they can say "water is poison" and a huge subset morons will believe it, and even when someone disproves them or the OP apologizes, there's still gonna be morons that'll believe it anyway

there's nothing they can do, but they made this legion of idiots from their ignorance and stubborn insistence

even though one show got rid of it's best writers, serialized itself to it's own demise, threw in a divorce plotline, celebrates nihilism, is usually hands free, and messed it's own story up

while the other is just silly

God, that's how I feel with Twitter activism

they make activism into a contest on who can be the most proactive and (seemingly) morally correct

soon they slowly forget why they advocated for these causes in the first place because they see it as a contest rather than doing a good deed

To be fair

There are some things where you will have to take a side on (mostly about human rights)

But then there are some things where you don’t have to take any side (stupid media opinions or most fandom discourse)

It's only lumped with brainrots because miserable twitter morons constantly gave more attention towards the brainrot crap rather than the game itself and it's merits
