A huge problem could be solved if i could just be straight and say. 'Im not going to do it but man do i kinda want to die today bc of xyz' without ppl treating you like youre 6 or being admitted somewhere. Sometimes it is just nice to get that out but maaan is there no where to do it

Therapist roulette sucks major ass and it feels like everyone is always losing. Not to mention how many causes of needing a therapist are structural and sometimes it feels like advice is putting a bandaid on a broken leg and then the patient gets to feel the brunt of embarassment from all this

a huge gripe i have with a lot of indie games is their love of very pixelated visuals which can look very cool! but it feels like none on these games are playtested by ppl who suffer from eyestrain from that shit they make it the worst colors imaginable with an insane dithering and my head HURTS

anyways i started eclipsium and was stopped by a bug in the game alas but i really liked what it was doing so far. its a walking sim which isnt everyones thing but i loooove the visuals in it. very strong use of color and i can turn down the pixels when they hurt my eyes

I looooove playing indie games that just came out sometimes bc sometimes the game will show me a black screen for 3 minutes and nearly crash from loading and the whole time i am like wow..this is really thoughtful storytelling and making me think about what i was just shown

I meant because of its online anti cheat stuff they get rreeeeaallly touchy with mods even if they dont allow you to cheat. But im also not an expert. I suppose if i rlly want it i can get bombrush or underground

Oh yes! I think the best way to judge how to tackle that is look at a story you like that does that (like 1000xr) to judge How Much to put at the beginning. Maybe a forboding conversation or showing a dire event for a scene

i think the best thing to avoid a mess story is to make sure the events you are concocting are linked in a way that flows. i always think about stakes and consequences but ive also never finalized anything.. ive been picking at story elements for so long

id try out a few outlines with the events in different orders and see if having event a come before b would effect some events on b in a way you liked. usually the 'biggest event' would happen last which can be the most dire event or the one that has ur major theme most apparent
