There was near miss of lorry, bus and car on M8 last week.

Aircoach had pulled out to pass a truck. I came behind Aircoach. Merc passed me on inside. Aircoach realised that truck had speeded upm and went to go into inner lane - did an immediate swerve back when realised Merc had occupied that space

So the practice of not naming children on headstones until a parent/older relative subsequently died goes back at least as far as 1804
