“Asylum seekers are using children to thwart efforts to deport them. We need to be prepared to send them home.”

Depressing that a Labour government seems determined to follow Denmark—one of the harshest countries in Europe toward immigrants right now.

Grim times ahead.#r4today

This is how the BBC reported the IOF’s brutal execution of a terrified six year old, surrounded by the dead bodies of her slain relatives.

Critics accused it of “bias”, but many of us see s/t else entirely: a state broadcaster that basically does as it’s told while pretending independence. #r4today

Here are some pertinent examples of the BBC’s bias against Israel, as Charles Moore highlights.

Anyone who’s been paying attention over the past two years knows that this nuclear-armed state, with one of the world’s most advanced militaries, could certainly use more support from the BBC.

Robert Jenrick was happy to be part of a government that defunded every part of the criminal justice system, including prisons, and ignored years of warnings about the damage this would cause.

Any outrage he expresses about the state of prisons now comes years too late.

#r4today Chris Philp says he doesn’t support racial profiling — yet, in the same breath, makes an argument linking race and criminality.

Here’s another study he probably won’t agree with:

The only time he went quiet during the interview with former Chief Superintendent Dal Babu was when this came up.

I wonder why. Maybe he just isn’t interested in discussing the connection btwn Zionism and anti-Blackness. Unfortunate - but nothing to lose sleep over, right Justin? #r4today

Why didn’t Nick Robinson challenge Yvette “let me be clear” Cooper on this?

She falsely claimed that the intelligence services backed the proscription of Palestine Action. That wasn’t true - so why isn’t the Home Secretary being held accountable for lying to the public?

“Denial is necessary, in other words, for a group’s sense of virtue& victimhood. It is also part of the strategic discourse used to manage the reputation of the perpetrating nation internationally & to preserve the outside world’s belief in the legality & legitimacy of the nation’s actions.”#r4today

Wild how those condemning political violence most loudly are the biggest purveyors of it.

If Charlie Kirk was rlly a “martyr for free speech”, why shld ppl lose their jobs for criticising his actions?

It’s not heartless to refuse to mourn someone who spent their life dehumanising others. #r4today

Nick Robinson:

“How would it work to have a deputy to Keir Starmer who disagrees with him on central foreign policy issues, disagrees with him on the direction of the economy, and disagrees with him on welfare reform?”

Does he mean the same Keir Starmer who once said this? #r4today

Why is Justin Webb discussing the forcible displacement of Palestinians so calmly, as if it isn’t a violation of international law?

Gaza isn’t “unbelievably sensitive” — that framing is only used by people in denial about the blindingly obvious reality of a genocidal settler colonial regime.

Chanting “Death to the IDF” isn’t antisemitism. It’s valid criticism of a gleefully genocidal army, an “affirmation of life”.

For over 500 yrs, the Western world of ideas has opposed sexuality & consciousness, rigidly, laying the foundation for an entire culture to interpret "eroticism" as a threat to
"intelligence," "bodies" as menaces to "minds" and "sensuality" as an enemy to
"rationality".#r4today

Good to hear Lucy Williamson setting the record straight with Anna on Israeli attitudes toward Palestinian suffering.

Anna Foster’s earlier comments were factually inaccurate and misleading.

In Israel, humanising Palestinians isn’t just unpopular—it’s isolating.

Justin Webb questions the veracity of reports about babies—BABIES—being murdered in Gaza, s/t he never does when uncritically repeating state propaganda from an openly genocidal regime.

Biased much, Justin? #r4today’s coverage of Gaza is a daily reminder that the BBC is propaganda.

Precarity isn't an accidental side effect of systemic changes to benefits. In a necropolitical admin that considers some lives not worth protecting, this is strategic, not something that just "happens".

Under capitalism, human lives are mere resources on a spreadsheet.
