i'm just kind of in it for the actors i know at this point unless a premise really really speaks to me LOL i probably won't watch most of these anyways but who knows

genuinely, it is hard to appreciate or understand the movie if you don't get that every decision made is about gelphie. it is a much more impressive movie once you understand that.

everything about the movies intentionally leads back to the relationship between glinda and elphaba, in a way that is not just open to but supports a romantic reading of their relationship.
