"A good pedant" (Richard Herring)
I think the artist has pulled the London Pavilion slightly towards the corner.

If you see this, post a record cover with a motor vehicle on it.

I often get leaflets and cards for takeaways, gardening services, guttering and roofing, estate agents, taxis etc pushed through my letterbox. I've never had anything quite like this before.

A pint of Batham's bitter and, soon, the company of @hannahcooper.bsky.social.

Life is good.

Your memory is playing tricks here, Justin. Thames and LWT were the only companies to hold out, everyone else had it in March and April 1983. Here's an example 'Regional Variations' listing from The Times for Thursday, 7 April 1983

I know I'm a bit late coming back with this, but it's likely that you know more than Google's AI too.

I'd love to know what this was all about... BBC 2, 9 January 1967.

Yes, that's the general impression I've had. I can't continue this through the 1980s, but here's a fairly roughly-done graph of weekly average Coronation Street figures from 1977 to 1982.

Here, for example, is the National Top 100 for the first episode of The Trial of a Timelord, as published in Broadcast magazine.

Not on your nelly! This is my last box of my favourite fruit-flavoured tea. I'm sure it doesn't taste quite as good as it used to, but it's all I have. The 'best before end' date is April 2008. #twinings

Hooray! I've finally joined the club.

I most recently saw the film in November, last year. So do I watch it again before, during, or after I read @greavesian.bsky.social's new tome?

ATV London had shown it in the normal Sunday 7.25pm timeslot in 1966 and there must have been some hoo-hah over it because ATV midlands were due to show it at 7.30pm the following Friday, but it was replaced by the episode 'Interlude in Venice'.

If some tiny bits of 'The Hasty Heart' ring more of a bell than the rest of it, it might be because it was from this film that the 'Saturday Live' title sequence got its clips of Ronald Reagan.

This morning I've received an email from VirginMedia which tells me when something will be happening to my landline.

The date format is unusual, at least for communications to the general public, and is also in the past.

Back in Feb, I'd booked a rail ticket through the @westmidrailway.bsky.social app. The night before, I noticed that the time on the ticket was wrong, in the ticket details it was fine. An issue when a ticket for a day in BST is booked on a day where it's GMT maybe? Ticket images via email were OK.

I see that the top bit of that TVTimes cover, 'Be a Better Driver' and the accompanying artwork, is from a genuine cover - week commencing 7 June, 1975.
