Hilarious video by a South African knobhead desperately willing a pleasant London street to be a war zone. Nearest he gets to danger is a woman telling him to stop talking nonsense.

The BBC will fuck things up from time to time. Lots of major news organisations do; just look at The Times having to memoryhole several fake news stories in a matter of weeks.

No one is calling for the abolition of The Times, however.

The BBC is a vast, complex machine that doesn't always get it right. In some cases it gets things badly wrong.

Once it, as we know it now, is gone, it will never come back. The BBC is the envy of the world, yet there are those amongst us who want it choked and buried.

Afternoon all. Changes have been rung at Aveley.

Walker and Chadwick both gone, no sign of Gayle. But we do have a new face up front in the shape of Lukasz Franzen-Jones.

Looks like we've changed shape too.

I'm pleased that they've done this.

(Although the cynic in me thinks they've seen the tea leaves about copyright and the bubble and basically that people think AI imagery and writing is shite. They could have declared this ages ago)
Both DC and Marvel have expressed that gen AI has no place in their comic books.

That’s significant.

I hope they go further and enshroud that in contracts if they haven’t already. #CreateDontScrape

So what precisely do the right want to do about the white working classes? Certainly not go to university, as they want numbers down. Nor to have a unionised manufacturing job, as they don't want unions.

No, they just want pawns as part of their culture wars. They don't give a toss.

Some impressive diverts here. Also suspect linked to a power surge here last night
London-Heathrow will be closed for ALL of Friday due to a “significant power outage” caused by a fire in an electrical substation.

There are currently 120 aircraft in the air that will be diverting to alternate airports or returning to their origins.
