Finished the Archaeopter Stratoraptor! The model is complete, base is done, and she's finally flying high on her stand! I'm proud of the improvements to my freehand work on this model, as well as the step up in complexity in my Martian Surface base for this army.

How about some more xeno love? Here's my Patriarch for my Genestealer Cult! I really wanted to make strong contrast between the skin, armored carapace and the very vibrant more dangerous bits. I kept the scheme simpler to try and get through them faster, since this is how my Tyranids will look too!

Well I won't get better at freehand work by NOT practicing, so I decided to take a risk on last night's stream and try to recreate some of the designs from the transfer sheet by hand. There is definitely better work done by more talented painters, but I think it's a strong step towards improvement!

Because his drone buddy didn't come through, here he is!

Here's the one and only commission job I took! A Coldstar Commander from the T'au Empire! Lots of time spent carefully highlighting edges and making sure the panels were as clean and crisp as I could make them at the time. Love the colors and I think he, his base and drone friend came out nice!

Here's a behemoth that took me ages! My XV104 Riptide Battlesuit from the T'au Empire! This model took me ages with all of the edges and surfaces needing careful layering after pin washing, but the effort was worth it! Love the model, love the base, and it's a beast on the table to boot!

Here's a bigger boi! My first ever Imperial Knight Warden, fully painted! This was still kinda early in my painting career, so the base is a lot more subdued than I would normally do, but I really love this model and the way it came out! 😄

Finally, the beauty shots of the Warboss in Mega Armor I just finished with my Twitch community! Had an absolute blast bringing this guy to life! The weathering and bright colors makes me feel proud to have this guy charge into the fray and get stuck in! I hope you like him too!

Here's the first ever miniature I've painted on my Twitch stream! He's a Tech-Priest Dominus from the Adeptus Mechanicus from Warhammer 40K. I'm really happy with how he came out, and the stripe on the hood was one of my first ever freehand attempts, as well as the bubbles in the vials on top!

Photo from a recent play test of my board game! Still seeing some pacing issues, particularly in games of 3-4 players, but there's a few options to explore for shoring that up which I think will help. Testing of version 0.8.2 is complete, gonna move on to developing and building 0.9!
