who is left to fight for all that is good and pure and gets you smashed for under a fiver? Yes, it's the surprising adventures of me, Sir Digby Chicken-Caesar!

It has my favouritest song ever on it - Sex Dwarf!
On this day in 1981, #SoftCell released their debut studio album, "Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret".

The album's success was bolstered by the popularity of the cover version of #GloriaJones song "Tainted Love", which topped the charts worldwide and became the second best-selling British single of 1981.

Not that I would ever run for office, but if I was leading a federal party, part of my platform would be "let's piss off Alberta as much as possible, because they deserve it."

Pipelines are always pipedreams. Expensive ones too. Carney has so far lost a minister, and pissed off BC, indigenous communities, and generally anyone who cares about the environment.

I expected this, but it's not a good start.

Cancer really needs to leave the kind, caring, and positive people alone and focus on the violent scumbags instead.

I would support a total leafblower ban. Pick up a fucking rake, or leave the leaves there, lazy POS.

WWII taught us a valuable lesson - you don't tolerate Nazis, you crack down on them so hard they will be scared to climb out from under their rocks for several generations.

No criminal intent? TPS are racists in addition to morons. This could have resulted in multiple vehicular homicides. The idiot should have been charged.

"I don't like Doug Ford but I like how he stands up to Trump"
-- a fool

Don't legitimize Doug Ford's schoolyard antics. They don't hope, however nice they may feel. While he's doing that, he's wrecking your kid's education.

on Bill 60 - Rob Flack : “...not one protection is being altered in this bill” and that it will help give landlords “the confidence needed to rent out their buildings” so that rents come down.

First part is an outright lie.

Second part is "trickle down", think we're stupid? failure of logic there

🚨NEWS: NDP Leadership Candidate Tony McQuail had a message for his donors on my podcast today:

Don't send him any more money, for now.

Send it to fellow candidate @votetanille.bsky.social until she raises enough to survive the next cut off.

Watch as Tony made news (and almost made us all cry):

I didn't realize that the Ford criminal enterprise had stripped Toronto of its green roof building programme. Of COURSE they did.

CBC - thanks to your commercials I will not be patronizing nutbar and I certainly refuse to be an amex client.

the CBC should not have any commercials at all, anywhere, ever.

I’m no political strategist, but I think one of member of the Ontario NDP (and even the Liberals) should make a point every day of being ejected from the legislature for calling the Ford government corrupt.

Trans youth who are hurting in Alberta right now, please know SO many of us see you, care about you, and know you deserve to be protected.

We’ve got your back and will do everything we can to keep you safe in the face of attacks from craven, pathetic politicians ❤️

Gen X is truly the forgotten generation. While Gen Z whines that their rent is so high, many of us are hurtling toward retirement age with nothing, and no one will help us. They seem to take what was the upper-middle class experience, and assume everyone had that. Fuck nope.
November 20, 2025 at 12:55 AM
Gen Z "Oh my life is so hard right now! it's harder than anyone else has ever had it!"

Shut up kid. Wait until you grow up and realize that life challenges aren't unique to you, and many of us of previous generations had it decidedly shittier than you.

Calling someone ignorant should be allowable. There's the prevailing misconception that once you label someone ignorant, you've insulted them and somehow that invalidates the rest of your actually valid argument. No get out of jail free card. Ignorance should be properly labelled.

the only dramatic things about it were the media going "OMG WILL THERE BE AN ELECTION?" and the NDP doing their usual juvenile posturing and playing chicken with a confidence vote.

It's very, very tiresome. The one job of government is to make and pass legislation. Less BS more work, please.
