It is clear that Russia does not want peace and therefore we need to make Ukraine as strong as possible in order to them to be ready to stand up for themselves in this very, very difficult time.

It could be a pivotal week for diplomacy.

Trump's Ukraine "peace" plan is a profit scheme: let Russia keep stolen territory, rebuild for U.S. gain. That's not defending democracy-it's selling it off.

The war will end when Russia stops fighting. Therefore, pressure has to be put on Russia, so that they stop believing that they will win. Why is that so hard to understand?

Everything in Trump's russian plan —undoubtedly also a corruption pact—is disgraceful, rotten, and unacceptable.
But I would like European leaders to show much more indignation about one thing in particular: it absolves the russians of their crimes—a full betrayal of Nuremberg's legacy.

In this war, there can be neither compromise nor halfway solution.
There is a simple reason for this, which must be stated with the utmost force: it is a war of total annihilation on the part of russia and, even more so, for Ukraine, and therefore for us, it is a war against radical evil.

The EU and NATO (minus the US) should not seek to please Trump. We should not try to persuade. We should not ask permission. We must take control. This is our duty to ourselves, to democracy, to freedom, to justice, and of course, to Ukrainians.
