100%. I have no issue with his policies. But his entire strategy for addressing racism is genuinely “make the white man happy.” That is, racism only stems from dissatisfaction, so, if mostly white people are racist, the way to end racism is to satisfy them.

We’re already partially there…

Bernie disciples very much are class reductionists who believe that, if we uplift the white working class, they will stop being racist and sexist. Therefore, it is imperative for people who aren’t white or male to satisfy the whims of white men, in order for our rights to be respected.

I said this when LA got invaded. Either they never listened to us, or listened to us, and didn’t believe the same communities that have historically had this happen to them. Now they’re all surprised pikachu, bc their privileged asses couldn’t fathom that we could know more than them.

Hence why progressives like Liz Warren or Lauren Underwood or Sherrod Brown don’t get nearly the attention that Bernie Sanders gets. Because his view of progressivism is one that dismisses “identity politics,” and the mere premise of a need to address racial issues beyond economic policies.
