it seems that as fear and uncertainty brings out absolutes or at least a desire for black and white, to be able to break each person into good and evil, each choice into right and wrong.

There are no absolutes but regardless of conditions it is always fun to get up to Upper Lake.

By rough estimates 3-400 hours of labor went into that snow sculpture. It will stand for a week maybe three before succumbing to the elements. The trails with thousands of hours of work will be gone in a month and a half. But Buckwheat happens for the sheer improbability of it.

I’ve been out of town but will look at our events in town! Hope I didn’t miss him!

Last summer we did the Yukon River Quest but it got cut short at Carmacks due to fires. Going back out this summer to try again!

We will be doing it this summer as well!
