Mockingbird Lane Halloween Market is today!!
Elks Lodge, Alameda Ca, from 12-5, Sunday, October 5th. See you there!!
A photograph of a booth at a craft fair. The booth is filled with spooky ceramics: ghosts, monsters, axolotl‘s, murder rabbits, gargoyles, black, Phillip, Balrog, sea monster, etc., Halloween themed. The person standing behind the booth is the artist. She is wearing an axolotl mask and staring off camera. This is a craft fair in Alameda California that happens every year around Halloween.

Just wanted to show off my gorgeous dog.
That is all.
Photograph of a dogs face. He is a Boston terrier- pug mix. This dog is smaller, 25 lbs, he has an underbite and you can see the lower teeth. Is this a goblin or a dog? We are not sure. Perhaps a gremlin?

Have you ever been to the Queets River Trail in Washington? It is so beautiful. Green, lush, quiet. If you get the chance, you should go. Bring a walking stick because you have to cross the Queets River and the rocks are slippery.
5/5 stars

A photograph of a small sculpture and a black cat sitting on a bright orange pumpkin. The cat is very happy with her mouth open and a big smile. The pumpkin is pretty happy too with bright, yellow eyes and grinning mouth.

Making some stackable mugs for All Hallows Art Fest September 27th in Petaluma!
#🎨#pottery#ceramic
A photograph of four mugs that are hand built, and not fired yet. They are stacked one on top of the other. One is black Philip the goat, one is a very happy axolotl, one is a vampire axolotl And the top one is a very happy bat. They are built for all year, but these will be going to a Halloween show in Petaluma this year.

Got a new display case for my little skull friends!
I think this is an improvement over my old shelves 😅
#🎨#ceramics#pottery
Photograph of a display case filled with small sculptures. The display case is in 3 pieces that are house-shaped with shelves. The small sculptures are creepy-cute things such as bats, black cats, skulls, candy corn, murder rabbit, cute mushrooms and many little friends on skulls. There is a beholder, a snake, a shrimp, a spider, a rat, a cat, a Mothman and a raven.

So many new little pumpkin friends, getting ready for the upcoming Halloween shows!
#🎨#pottery#ceramics#halloween
A photograph showing some works in progress. They are all ceramic and handbuilt. There are about 45 small pumpkins with little animals sitting on top of them. There are bats, candy, corn, ghosts, a platypus, spiders, black cats, rats, and an avocado. Each sculpture is about 2 inches tall. All of the animals and critters are very happy, and so are the pumpkins. Perfect for Halloween! So spooky and creepy cute. Much goth.

In the last 2 days, I have worked 22 hours and slept 10. 😭
Also had a really terrible shift during that time that triggered a decent amount of PTSD from being in acute care during the entirety of Covid.
I. Am. Tired.

These still need to be fired, but I am excited to see them finished (especially the book choy!😂)

I don’t really make these anymore because they have too many places where things can go wrong. But I am much happier using my b mix clay. So I may start making them again. And I am always happy to make one for you!!

I used to make death pandas in unglazed porcelain. Porcelain can be such a little bitch and places where you put clay together come apart during the glaze firing. So I thought I would try making one in my BMix clay.
happy with how it came out #🎨#pottery#ceramic

That glaze firing is PACKED.

A photograph looking down into a pottery kiln. The kiln is loaded very tightly with the pieces millimeters away from each other. The top shelf holds about 45 small sculptures of various animals or fruit on small porcelain skulls. You can see ravens, blueberries, shrimp, daikon, bats and beholders. There are also a couple of bats, spiders and ravens on little pumpkins.
