Please meditate on this fact:
In family gatherings, social media apps, and workplace conversations... it's NOT your duty to make MAGAs comfortable with the results of what they've done. You may have the gift of diplomacy and a forgiving heart... but it's not the burden of victims to sooth abusers.
The world feels so shallow these days, like the past doesn't matter as much, the future doesn't go out as far, and social connections are flimsy or superficial. Is that a real thing others are feeling, or is my political isolation in the MAGA Era just causing me to lose it?

Prediction:
Trump will start talking about AI video this weekend and how dangerous it is. He'll blame Democrats for using it too much. He'll be setting the stage for his lies about whatever footage comes out of the Epstein safe files via FBI

Why don't ppl at least use AI to invent clever new systems for healthcare and whatnot to replace our broken systems? Oh we're just making pictures of Kermit with a boner? Yeah that's totally worth draining the rivers!

We have discovered that access to a COVID vaccine this year can depend on the political beliefs of the nurse giving the shots.

Happy Veterans Day, or National Bone Spurs Day, whichever you celebrate.

How sick that it hasn't even been one year yet. I would bet $100 the US Constitution doesn't survive this.

Volunteers at food banks often have to check expiration dates before sending items out. You can help by checking the dates yourself and clearly circling them, or add a bit of tape with the date written on it. (Don't obscure ingredients or nutrition info.) Share if you care!

MAGA wasn't happy about white collar crime until Trump started making it popular and pardoning everybody doing it. Now they LOVE IT!

China’s CO2 emissions have now been flat or falling for 18 months, starting in March 2024.

This trend continued in the third quarter of 2025, when emissions were unchanged year-on-year.

If this trend starts to move into sustained carbon emissions reduction it would be hugely significant.

Trump is celebrating Veterans Day by taking away 80% of their benefits, closing 10% of their clinics, and threatening to raise their healthcare premiums by 300%.

Ahead of Veterans Day, I was honored to welcome a flight of veterans and their families as they arrived in DC.

This is especially helpful to retired volunteers who often have trouble reading the smallest expiration dates on the items you donate. This is one way to keep your gift out of the dumpster.

all the gold could be melted and made into a guillotine, just throwing out ideas
Look at what this garish, classless, tasteless fool has done to the People’s House.

There are 1,700 ballots that need signature confirmation. That is enough to change the election.

Go. Check. Your. Ballot.

Democrats:
What if you got $500/mo baseline income to spend on food, mortgage, rent or whatever mattered to your family?

Republicans:
What if your mortgage was 50 years?

Did they buy like 500 of these wooden decorations on Temu? I keep seeing them everywhere.

The corruption of Trump's administration has crossed a line past where it's even possible to explain it to MAGAs. They don't understand or care, and the frequency of it makes it feel commonplace or historically appropriate.

I think Trump's disgust with air traffic controllers not coming to work exposes a weakness in the oligarchy: they NEED airplanes and airports. That's how they navigate safely through a world that hates them. We should be protesting at the private jet branches of major airports?
November 11, 2025 at 4:01 AM
Never forget that our micro disappointments with some Democrats is a side narrative to the fact that Trump is massively corrupt, elected Republicans are complicit, and MAGA Americans are objectively ignorant racist garbage, and almost everything awful comes from what we call "conservatism".

We're debating on the government funding package right now and every single Republican voted against a Democratic amendment to pass a clean, one-year extension of the ACA tax credits.

Republicans just don't care about your health care.
