VALLAND'S SONG (1977)
Acrylic on Illustration Board - 24" x 16"

Probably too dark to be an effective paperback book cover; nevertheless it's an old favorite of mine. 1/3

“AI is clearly sticking around so you have to get used to it” wrong. I don’t have to get used to shit. I am a practiced hater and I can keep this going for decades if I am required to

The mouthpieces of corporations always put the weight and blame on regular people instead of the pure greed of the few.
stupid young people, stop buying a new phone every year if you don't want to be broke. wait no, not like that.

Managed to catch one of the last showings for Angel's Egg last night. What an incredible, one-of-a-kind film, still powerful and thought-provoking. The Blu-ray can't arrive soon enough!

PASSAGE: THE AVATAR (1988)
Acrylic on Canvas - 48" x 48"

Initially inspired by a few notes from a Pink Floyd instrumental track, this came to me while floating in a sensory deprivation tank. 1/4

Turning this off will remove the Promotions/Updates/Social tabs, and honestly, FINALLY! Having certain email chains thrown into multiple tabs was just the worst
If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."

There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

Having lost and rebuilt my website recently, it is surprising how many domain registrars were purchased by private equity compared to when I first used them.

ARMENIA (1990)
Oil on Canvas - 22” x 35”

Ar-me-ni-a, city in the sky, a Who song, not the country.

This painting is part of a series dealing with what Barbara Tuchman describes as the disillusionments of twentieth-century man. 1/5

Capitalism is incredible. Sorry, former teacher, your retirement fund is gone because 5 guys who've collectively never worked a full hour told the banks to put all the money in the country into virtual girlfriend futures
WSJ: “.. If the AI market blows up, the blast radius would be wide, hitting not only Wall Street firms, but also pensions, mutual and exchange-traded funds and individual investors, because of how debt is often sliced and resold across the financial landscape.”

SNAP isn't about "people who don't work." It's about people who don't get paid enough to live.

Of the 40 or so million people who rely on food stamps:

* Two-thirds are children, seniors, or disabled

* Most working-age adults who receive SNAP are employed—but in jobs that pay poverty wages

Very blurry shot of a cardinal eating from the bird feeder. Took about 5 days for the birds to start discovering it. Signs of a mockingbird also using it.
I’ve been checking constantly, so it’s nice to know they’re liking it!
