I'm glad to hear its neat because I just saw it uses morris code which I've always wanted to learn considering how often I use it. So I just added it to my wishlist didn't even bother trying the demo, a rare move by me.

Should clarify that I think it COULD be done well, but I can't think of one that does. I would much rather it be seen as a cool optional extra. Preys DLC comes to mind.

But I do find it very frustrating that so many fun games are made this way, because it makes me hate them.

payouts for stuff are so fucking wildly out of whack with each other its insane. what's weird is they have stuff in game already to make things at least somewhat interesting more often but they just dont.

I really want to say elites good, but unless you're doing combat stuff you're spending more travel time than anything. People who thinks exploring is fun are nuts; not because the concept isn't fun, but its implementation and lack of interesting stuff makes it a lot less fun.

I know the songs are on youtube, but they had pseudo lyric videos that I assume got copyright claimed at some point.

That's still like $80 bucks more than I can afford, but I appreciate the link and heads up - it's actually cheaper than I would have thought.
