Texas Tech has been elite at pressuring QBs w/o blitzing. The Red Raiders blitz on just 20.3% of dropbacks (FBS median blitz rate = 26.7%), but Tech gets pressure 42.2% of the time.

Oklahoma QB John Mateer is listed as questionable on the Wednesday night SEC availability report.

Georgia tackles Monroe Freeling and Earnest Green are both questionable for the Auburn game.

Florida lists 6 out and 7 questionable, while opponent Texas A&M lists 1 out and 1 questionable.

I get that people want to make the comparison but Sark has accomplished several things at Texas that Jimbo did not at A&M

Sark took Texas to the CFP semis twice, won a conference title and played for another.

Jimbo never got his team to the CFP nor did he even play for a conference title.

Houston QBs were pressured on 65.5% of their dropbacks vs. Texas Tech, the highest pressure rate allowed by an FBS team this weekend, per PFF (min. 10 pass att.). TTU got pressure on 19 of UH's 29 dropbacks.

Texas (58.1%) had the second-highest pressure rate allowed in its loss to Florida.

Texas Tech prepared to use a silent count if needed at Houston after so many pre-snap penalties at Utah.

QB Behren Morton, when asked what percentage of snaps the Red Raiders used a silent count on Saturday, he said: "Zero. It was a home game for us," a nod to the number of Tech fans who showed up.
