Many smaller companies use Shopify for e-commerce, and I personally believe they shouldn’t be hurt by overly-broad righteousness.

But if they have multiple payment options? No need to give Shopify a cut.

some quick googling informs me that:

- ring cameras record audio (and california requires two-party consent)
- they can't have it angled such that it sees into my apartment with the door open, which it does
