But this year especially online I’ve seen first hand how much retaliation comes with delusional violent mis-perceptions of me, from social disrespect and disempowerment to harassment to attempts at doxxing to death threats and that’s been weighing on me how much energy it takes to be here 🖤

When I fail to provide these expectations and stomach that violence in the form of the expected social roles cis folks exert on me they infantilize me and disrespect me or see me as bad at socializing when in reality I’m just not gonna be something I’m not and that doesn’t make me rude or defiant

What that leaves me is a permanent ‘damned if I do, damned if I dont’ situation where folks expect me be accountable to their fears of cis men and their unmet needs they force on cis women. As someone who is out of the binary as a lady and the ways that sets off my dysphoria its a literal violence

What a lot of binary folk do unconsciously or consciously is masculinize my confidence and experience my joy and self worth as some kind of aggro existence rather than basic autonomy as a lady and on the flip side my femininity gets mother-coded as the response to where folks experience my kindness

The way being a genderqueer lady for me feels like laying in warm melting snow and being bathed in gentle light is so beyond any femininity I ever experienced or knew in cis people culture and so much of being a witch to me is capturing my essence in self and gender socially ✨✨✨

I think widely a lot of my dysphoria comes from ways I was cis-masculinized when I was trans masc whether it was the agender or genderqueer chapters and how suffocating and dry that was or just plain the way cis womanhood makes my blood vessels feel like they’re swelling like bad raspberries
