From Joe: June 1941 "Graduated high school in June of '41 (at 17 1/2). Had taken college prep courses, primarily at urging of teachers. Had no specific plans but considered going to Westinghouse Technical Institute in the fall." - Grandpa always respected his educators, later marrying one himself!
