like it's a very well-written book, extremely effective and 100% accomplishes what it's setting out to portray

but it's so subconsciously horrifying and tragic that it was like a sucker punch to the face

not to mention it's unfortunately rather resonant in the current day and age :,y

we could pick any of our readings/topics, so I ended up writing more about The Man Who Lived Underground

which is about a wrongly-arrested man who gets brutalized to the point of delirium, escapes into the sewers, undergoes a journey of self-discovery

then comes back up only to get shot and die

i did in fact finish the essay (for the most part, i'll probably give it a couple more passes since it isn't due for another week and a half)

this uberdepressing book will probably never leave my memory and i'm not quite sure how to feel about it lol

I want to fluff the fluff………….

loaded up my pre-true end save to do the final stretch a couple more times and

yeah this is probably the most fun i've had with a videogame finale since TOTK

the funny thing is that my classes haven't even really ramped up all that significantly, but i'm still having end-of-semester burnout
