Watching this season of Amazon's Faceoff show was torture for the most part (shout out to the Seth Jarvis ep for being uplifting), but it did make me resolute in my feeling that, even when humanized to the fullest, I still don't like the Tkachuk's

I have not read Wuthering Heights (yet), but my wife and I started watching the movie version with Tom Hardy and Charlotte Riley (her fav version) and now the new one with Jacob Elordi and Margot Robbie looks even more nonsensical to me, at least based on the trailer

Someone once told me that Taylor Swift is the best songwriter of our generation, and on days like today where my timeline is filled with people complaining about her latest song/album/whatever, I think about that a lot.

This is not the only failure of the PS5 gen, but for me, every time I turn on my console I'm reminded of how blah the startup sound is.

Where's the orchestra? Where's the booming sound that launches you into a new dimension? Wtf is this phone jingle shit? Literally turning the PS5 on upsets me

A lot of people are (understandably) focused on the Saudi Arabia and Kushner part of this, but the far bigger immediate impact will come from the new private EA being on the hook for $20 billion in debt. That could mean mass layoffs, more aggressive monetization, and other big cost-cutting measures
