Thanks for creating this thread. There are a lot of cool titles in this I don't think I'd have found otherwise. I'm also excited to see so manying horror movies. A criminally underrated genre.

I believe Demian Rugna intended the lead (Pedro) to be an absolute fuck-up. The evil within Pedro is his insecurity over being a failure of a man and a father. The appearance of a rotten merely gives him the pretense to act on his fears and selfishness under the guise of doing the right thing.

I'm just astonished they couldn't see this coming when almost everyone saw this coming. How many times can they reinvent a pyramid scheme and think "things will be different this time". It doesn't matter how big you can build it before it collapses if its always built to collapse.
