I work for a state university in their dining department. I am union. I am VERY pro union. And the campus just offered us a 2% pay raise. Which sounds good. Until you work out that it's 36.4 cents an hour for me.

As an aside, I'm told multiple major outlets were not interested in this story and passed on covering it. Mind-boggling.

So. As a university employee, I submitted 2 tuition waivers-1 for summer, 1 for fall on 2/20/25. Summer classes start in a week. I have yet to hear back on if that fucking waiver has been accepted.

Why? To sell off farmland for rock bottom prices to the oligarchs. Water and mineral rights and CAFOs polluting with impunity.
